Message from the Founder

Next Chapter Jozi began with a simple belief: learners should not be limited by the resources they happen to have around them. Growing up close to the realities of inner-city Johannesburg, I saw how much potential exists in our schools, and how often that potential is held back by access, not ability.

This initiative is our way of helping to change that. Through books, STEM opportunities, partnerships and student-led action, we want to help learners see that their next chapter is not already written for them. It can be built, page by page, with the right support, belief and opportunity.

Next Chapter Jozi is not just about donating resources. It is about restoring possibility.

Message from the COO

Next Chapter Jozi is built on practical action. Behind every book drive, school partnership and learner opportunity is a system of planning, communication, logistics and accountability. Our goal is to make sure that good intentions become real outcomes for schools and learners.

As a student-led team, we believe that young people can organise with seriousness, lead with responsibility and contribute meaningfully to education in South Africa. Our work is still growing, but our commitment is clear: we want every project to be thoughtful, useful and lasting.
